HEADSTONE IS FINALLY HOME IN LOYALHANNA TOWNSHIP CEMETERY
This Memorial day is extra special because of all the dedicated team work that went into righting a wrong that happened so many years ago, the headstone of Samuel Walker has been put back to its rightful home at Loyalhanna Baptist Cemetery.
Thanks to a group of caring, good-hearted people from Josh and Hillary Haines who discovered the headstone in a creek in Plum and Josh Haines and Camden Thomas who leveled, repaired the base and placed Samuel's headstone back where he belongs. Chuck, Mary and Butch worked endlessly for days cutting trees, trimming, and weed eating in preparation of the upcoming Memorial Day. The cemetery looks the best it has in many, many years. A grateful THANK YOU to all that made this happen!
